Once a year the town donates money to the person nominated for town grouch.
There is no limit on how many people can be nominated (in 2020 we had 4 people in the running) and during Town and Country days we announce the winner.
The winner is the one who raised the most money and the money goes back to the chamber to create events in town and the grouch for the year gets to be in the parades, hold the title.
